Hi I’m Allie, an indie artist based in AZ
I was born with severe eczema. There is no cure for it, but there are things I can do to avoid breaking out from head to toe in itchy red bumps. I started making jewelry a few years ago to see what my skin would and would not tolerate. I learned that only high quality metals like solid sterling silver (925), vermeil, filled gold and solid gold were the only 100% safe options for my skin.
Now that I am aware of this, it is my goal to make jewelry fit for sensitive skin. Each piece on my site includes a full disclosure of every material that was used to create it. Some may still have irritations from even fine jewelry and high quality metals, but others, this kind of transparency may be the clarity they need to feel safe and heard when buying jewelry.
Please read my jewelry care tips to learn more about fine jewelry, and how to care for it properly. Also be sure to read the disclaimer at the bottom of this page.
QUALITY GUARANTEED: I want you to be 100% satisfied with your jewelry, and for it to last you a lifetime. If you have any concerns regarding the quality of a piece, please contact me. I offer free repairs for LIFE, just pay for shipping!
Please feel free to message me for any inquiries regarding eczema, jewelry care, custom jewelry, silicone molds for resin, custom gemstone necklaces or earrings, gift wrapping, and more! I care about meeting your needs, requests, and interests. Thank you for visiting my shop!

DISCLAIMER: I urge you to seek medical treatment from a certified dermatologist to find out what your skin can and cannot tolerate if you suffer from eczema or any form of dermatitis. It is rare for anyone to have an allergic reaction to gold or silver, but I would not rule it out if you have noticed even fine jewelry causing your skin to become irritated.
When wearing your jewelry, you may notice that during a bad flare up, sometimes your skin will not tolerate anything that touches it (this has happened to me a few times). Don't be alarmed, just try to keep the irritated area clear and moisturized until the flare up dies down, and avoid wearing any jewelry at all during your worst flare-ups. Sometimes when the skin is aggravated, it can overreact to any substance that touches it for a long time, even non irritants.
Finally, my advice does not replace or fill in any way the advice of a licensed medical professional. I am simply a person who has been battling eczema for my entire life, and I want to share my tips with other people fighting it who are interested in finding jewelry they can wear safely. Just because something works for my skin, does not mean it is guaranteed to work for yours. All I can do is point you in the directions I went to heal my skin, but ultimately it is up to you and your dermatologist to find out exactly what your skin triggers are, and how to reduce them in your environment! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me via the email posted above, or by DM on any of my social media accounts under Lilac and Lily co.
I wish you very happy skin! Thank you for reading.
